Prince Norodom Ranariddh
PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Prince Norodom Ranariddh's wife Ouk Phalla who were seriously injured in a car accident on Saturday was sent to Thailand for treatment on Sunday, a party official said.
Nheb Bun Chin, a spokesman for royalist Funcinpec Party, told The Cambodia Herald's affiliate CEN, that Ouk Phalla was sent to Thailand on Sunday morning.
Six people including Prince Ranariddh and his wife were injured in a car accident Saturday in Kampong Cham's Prey Chhor district.
The accident happened at around noon when a truck loaded with soil crashed into the prince's motorcade heading for Phnom Penh capital from Kampong Cham province.
The police said Prince Ranariddh was slightly wounded while his wife was seriously injured and were rushed to a hospital in Phnom Penh.
