PHNOM PENH (Xinhua) -- The Cambodian government on Friday approved around 3.92 billion U.S. dollars for the country' s expenditure in 2015, up 10.8 percent year-on-year, according to a press statement released after a weekly cabinet meeting.
The meeting was presided over by Prime Minister Hun Sen.
"The 2015's government spending is equal to 21.09 percent of the GDP and is up 10.8 percent compared to the 2014's expenditure," the statement said.
The budget will be focused on the spending in general administration, national defense, security, social affairs, education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure and economic development.
