PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Mu Sochua and Yim Sovann haven't been elected into the National Assembly's eighth and tenth commissions respectively during a session Wednesday. Thus, they automatically failed to become the chairman and chairwoman of the commissions.
Of 122 lawmakers from CPP, CNRP, who joined the session, only 56 voted in favor of them, 63 voted against and 3 abstained. They needed 63 votes.
Mu Sochua and Yim Sovann, CNRP's lawmakers representing Battambang province and Phnom Penh city respectively, were the first two lawmakers from the opposition who didn't get enough votes since the National Assembly has held session Tuesday to elect its new leadership.
After the vote, Sam Rainsy, CNRP's president, was seen talking with Prime Minister Hun Sen, vice president of ruling Cambodian People's Party, and Interior Minister Sar Kheng to discuss other candidates for the two commissions.
"I am sorry to all compatriots that I don't have an opportunity to serve the nation as the chairman of the anti-corruption Commission," Sovann posted on his Facebook page at around 2:00 pm.
"I received only 56 votes out of 122 votes, and it meant that CPP's lawmakers havent' voted for me," he said.
"However, I still serve the nation and compatriots as a lawmaker," he added.
Ms.Ke Sovanrath was elected to replace Mu Sochua as the chairwoman of the eight commission. Ho Vann replaced Yim Sovann as the chairman of the tenth commission.
The two are also senior officials from Cambodia National Rescue Party.

Hun Sen never honored any agreements before. He reneged on the 1991 Paris Agreement because he lost the 1993 election and refused to step down. He reneged on agreements with Funcinpec many times and staged a coup to grab power in 1997 and cheated Funcinpec many times after he made the agreements with them. So nobody should ever trust Hun Sen.

Now we can see Hun Sen came out of his barrow hole and started the business of criticise his critics again.

This very same poster used to write nasty comments about the Queen Mother engaging orgy with multiple men in deviant sexual acts. I am not into hearsay. Due to the rampant lies among the Asians (for lacking German honor), I resort to the German superiority to deal with the Asians. I will use exactly what the Asian said on the record to expose the bad Asian logic. That's plenty enough to assert my German superiority.
For example, CNRP expected Mu Sochua to be voted for a certain position. That is enough for me to point out fake Democracy. CNRP plays the game of vote-fixing. What's the point of voting if the result is already fixed?
What's the point of going to take the National test when you already bought the test result and cheat, or bribe your way into a position? Asian culture is so sick.
If you want real worker, or leader, you should get the Germans. They are honorable and superior. Just read my comments on the forum, you can see my comments are generally superior over all Khmer's comments.
