PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – Joint Committee of CPP and CNRP has agreed to include 14 points into framework of election reforms after a meeting today at the Senate.
Among the 14 points, they agreed on the election of village chiefs in the future.
The two parties also plan to meet again on March 24 to discuss further detains, according to joint statement.
The 14 points agreed after the meeting are as follow:
1 – Preparing voters registration and lists of voters to ensure rights of every citizen
2 – Preparing for the creation of law on financing of political parties
3 – Reform of National Election Committee
4 – Neutrality and integrity of civil society organizations
5 – Media and propaganda means of political parties
6 – Mechanisms for dispute solution
7 – Election observation
8 – Neutrality of civil servants and armed forces
9 – Date for election
10 – Election of village chiefs
11 – Adjusting and enforcing election law
12 – Election propaganda
14 – Survey.

We the CPP agreed to these 14 points. Also our boss in Hanoi also agreed, better yet add a few more and we will stamp our seal of approval.
On the other hand, respecting these points, we can't guarantee.
Should we meet again next month, and the next, and the next?
Oh, don't forget to come in to sign our agreement in the Senate
