PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – The ruling Cambodian People's Party today urged NGOs to fulfill their tasks neutrally without giving a favor to a political party.
NGOs in Cambodia are often criticized by for giving a favor to the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party.
The CPP officials raised the issue during their meeting this morning with officials from the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), said CNRP senior official Son Chhay.
The meeting also discussed the reform of National Election Committee, Chhay said, adding that the Joint Committee of the two parties will meet again on March 17 to resume the talks.
