On Jan. 16, Cambodian military police began a 10-day training program with the U.S. military in Phnom Penh. However, questions are being raised as to why the U.S. continues to support the Cambodian military, despite overwhelming evidence of human rights violations.
The Leahy Law prohibits the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Defense from providing military assistance to foreign military units that violate human rights with impunity. On Jan. 3, Cambodian military police opened fire on their own people with AK-47 assault rifles, killing five and injuring as many as 42 after they were deployed to break up a demonstration in the Pur Senchey district.
If the United States should have given any assistance in this matter, it should have gone to the Cambodian National Rescue Party. By supporting the Cambodian People’s Party, the United States has undoubtedly supported the communist side of the spectrum. As the son of a Cambodian immigrant who actually survived the original Khmer Rouge, I find myself appalled that this administration has literally turned their backs on my family, and others who came to the United States to escape the oppressive government.
There are others in this country, unfortunately, who don’t understand how communists operate, especially in Cambodia. In Cambodia, if you don’t follow what you’re told, you’re done. CPP military spokesperson Kheng Tito doesn’t get to say what he wants to say. Tito is given talking points, filled with propaganda, and the people listen to that on a daily basis. For example, do you really think that real ammunition was used against the innocent civilians in the Pur Senchey District? Well, you’re probably saying, “Well, duh! How else would it work?”
Well, Kheng Tito has been unsuccessful in trying to convince the average Cambodian that the ammo used to kill innocent civilians, was not real ammo. The heads of totalitarian governments are always paranoid about losing power. That is why dictators, communists, and bad people in general in charge of a nation, choose to capture or kill the educated members of society. That is what the Khmer Rouge did en route to murdering more than 2 million people. Kim Jong Un was paranoid over the fact that his Uncle may have been plotting to overthrow him from power. As a result, Kim Jong Un had his Uncle murdered and reportedly his corpse was fed to a pack of hungry dogs, but as of today, that is still unconfirmed.
America today is not in as good of shape as it has been in the past, but we’re still much better off than many other countries in the world today. But, I must ask: President Obama, why are we helping the communist regime get stronger in Cambodia? What is the purpose? What are we getting in return? I feel that this administration has been making terrible moves in foreign policy, especially when it comes to supporting terrorism in Syria. When are we going to wake up?

Some Khmer/Cambodian refugees living in the U.S. are so stupids. For examples, Phy Siphan, Keo Remy, and others think of their own interests doing illegal businesses with CPP offices (unlawful government in Phnom Penh - influenced by Communist Yuon/Vietnamese in CPP).
Some of those Khmer refugees settled down in the U.S. acted like the above Khmer people living in Cambodia and act like superiors to Cambodia/Khmer people in Cambodia and lie they have educations, but they don't, especially not knowing the history of Khmer/Cambodia and never studying or doing any research. What the heck they have been thinking?
We learn that some of Khmer refugees are Yuon/Vietnamese as well because they can speak Khmer language, but they don't care about Cambodia. However, they care about their own interests by going to Cambodia to take advantages of stupid, blind and educated CPP officials under criminal Hun Sen's legs. Also, they manipulated the criminal CPP government officials and others, trying to steal, evict and arrest the innocent Khmer people who are the owners of properties. Those f**king dumb Khmer/Yuon refugees living in the U.S. have caused hug problems to destroy Cambodia and hurting Cambodian people.
If they are well educated and finished the HS, earned BS, MS, and PhD in the U.S., please make sure you know Cambodian history or Khmer Empire history, Khmer politics, Khmer situations in Cambodia. So, don't just go too fast without doing research or studying first before getting involved in Cambodia and helping out.
You have seen the idiot Youk Chhang at Khmer Rouges Trial in Phnom Penh along with Theary Seng as well (but Theary Seng has changed and learned), but Youk Chhang has not changed yet. However, Youk Chhang cares about what made him look good, wants to be superior or money hungry.
I really fed up with those who have gone too far and too fast without thinking.
I am just frustrating with some of those Khmer/Yuon refugees living in the U.S. who do not know what they are doing.
Khmer living in the U.S.
so sad that most don't know this but the US is also on its way to become the a communist country... they have passed law that any one can be a terrorist and can be detained without due process [ be charged for a crime or offense ] , the govt is working hard trying to confiscate guns from the people which is allowed by the 2nd amendment of the US constitution, they are also trying to confiscate people's land by claiming it is unsafe for the owner to live on it such as no sewage system or running water or breaking environmental law [ saving land for natural habitat ]NSA the spying agency --probably watching this response as i typed... and it seems to fit the hun sen regime perfectly... and as they say '' bird of feathers flock together'' . hopefully some of you would wake up and quit hoping that the US will come to your rescue...nobody can fight your battle for you.
