PHNOM PENH — Nearly one year ago Cambodia’s former head of state, King Father Norodom Sihanouk, died in Beijing at the age of 89. On Friday, hundreds of dignitaries watched as a statue of the father of Cambodian independence was unveiled in central Phnom Penh.
The death in October 2012 of Norodom Sihanouk - a dominant figure in 20th century Cambodia - was a seminal moment for the kingdom. Read more at Voice of America.

This king had no shame and no brain at all. He killed and murdered khmer people and helped,the enemy of the nation, youn vietcong to invade and control Cambodia. He was a criminal and a traitor. In reality he was not a king in blood, in soul and in heart. He was a gang bang playboy.

Sihaknouk was a khmer rouge also,when I was fighting with vietcong,He was announced from peking(bejing)wanted all khmer people go into the forest(prey marky)He the one let the vietcong living on the border and later on He ordered the vietcong get out from the border,vietcong didn't listen to him,and He told Mr Lon nol to fight clean up vietcong from the border,in the politic He wanted Mr Lon Nol took the power to fight back to North Vietnam,but this king is very bad,his brain change very a second one time do this next a few second do other way,and He went to Bejing to hang up with pol pot,got a big support fron china and later on went to pray Ho chi Minh,so He is Hun sen partnership,khmer have to look in the history. thank

Sihanouk was a yuon' s king living in Phnom Penh. Khmers should have a big bucket full of shit thrown at the statue to mark his first dead anniversary.
