Why killed these people? Why risk death for the tree? Who is behind all the buying of the tree? Yuon and Chen! They pay those poor khmers to be shot and killed by Siam thugs.These Yuons and Chens killed khmers by using Siam's hands,direct indirect all these three races were quilty! Siam,yuon,Chen plus its slave Cpp also quilty.

Agreed, but these Khmers that was killed knew the risk very well. These Khmers obviously believed that money and richness worth more than their lives. I don't feel sorry for these deads because they valued materialistics more than their own lives. There are others mean to support their family and themselves. Other 15 millions Khmer able to find other means.
Such a waste of lives over a high quality wood. Their parents sacrafied so much to raise them in a very harsh environment just to be get killed by Siam thugs, blood hungry, salvagtry, animals laws. I only feel sorry for their family.
