នៃការបាត់បង់ទឹកដីខ្មែរកម្ពុជាក្រោម នៅសួនច្បារ មុខវត្តបទុមវតី្ត
ក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ ក្រោមអធិបតីភាពព្រះរាជតំណាងដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់
របស់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ ដែលនឹងប្រព្រឹត្តទៅនៅថ្ងៃទី០៤ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០១៣ ។
តាមសេចក្តីអំពាវនាវរបស់សហគមន៍ខ្មែរក្រោម បានឲ្យដឹងថា ថ្ងៃទី៤
ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០១៣ ជាខួបគម្រប់ ៦៤ ឆ្នាំ ( ៤ មិថុនា ១៩៤៩-៤ មិថុនា ២០១៣
) ដែលជាថ្ងៃអាណានិគមបារាំង បានកាត់ទឹកដីខ្មែរកម្ពុជាក្រោម
ឲ្យអាណានិគមវៀតណាម ត្រួតត្រាបន្ត រហូតមមកដល់សព្វថ្ងៃ។
សេចក្តីប្រកាសបានបព្ជាក់ថា ដើម្បីសម្តែងនូវកតញ្ញូតាធម៌
និងគាវរកិច្ច ចំពោះព្រះវិញ្ញាណក្ខន្ធព្រះវីរសមណៈ
វិញ្ញាណក្ខន្ធវីរបុរស វីរនារី វីរយុទ្ធជន និងខ្មែរស្នេហាជាតិទាំងអស់
អង្គការសមាគមខ្មែរកម្ពុជាក្រោម
នឹងរៀបចំធ្វើបុណ្យរាប់បាត្រព្រះសង្ឃចំនួន ១៩៤៩ អង្គ
និងប្រារព្ធទិវាកាន់ទុក្ខថ្ងៃទី០៤ មិថុនា ដូចរៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ
ដើម្បីឲ្យប្រជាពលរដ្ឋខ្មែរគ្រប់រូប
ចងចាំនៅថ្ងៃប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រនេះ។

ក៏បានអំពាវនាវដល់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋខ្មែរទាំងនៅក្នុងស្រុក និងនៅក្រៅស្រុក
ដែលមានឈាមជ័រជាខ្មែរកម្ពុជាក្រោម ជួយឧបត្ថម្ភ
ដូចជាចង្ហាន់សម្រាប់ប្រគេនព្រះសង្ឃ ទឹកបរិសុទ្ធ
ឬជាថវិកាយកមករៀបចំប្រារព្ធទិវាកាន់ទុក្ខ ៤ មិថុនាជាថ្ងៃដែលបារាំង
បានកាត់ទឹកដីខ្មែរកម្ពុជាក្រោម ឲ្យទៅប្រទេសវៀតណាម ៕

I really feel ashamed of myself when I hear about Khmer Krorm strong heart to conserve Khmer identity - Khmer language, art, music. I once stumbled upon channel VN6 which broadcasted about Khmer Krorm. I was terribly shocked to see Buddhist monks and temple, Khmer community and Musical performance. I was shocked because I thought Khmer people didn't exist in Prey Nokor any more. I was shocked because I forgot Prey Nokor and its people. I was shocked to see they tried their best to help one another while in Cambodia, under a corrupt government, every man for himself, mostly. I was shocked to see that they tried to conserve Khmer culture while in Cambodia, people were adopting foreign cultures. I still feel ashamed whenever I think of Khmer Krorm.
Vietnamese people are still very good to Khmer Krom otherwise they would not allow Khmer Krom to preserve their culture. Their government don't care about anybody culture except to make sure they are in power forever.
