PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Residents from two
property development sites protested Wednesday outside the Council for
the Development of Cambodia where government officials and development
partners were meeting.
The residents including children asked
foreign donors to ask the government about their evictions from Borei
Keila and Boeung Kok as well as the fate of two women protestors
detained for attempted violence and incitement.
In a letter, they demanded land titles for 60 families and claimed 12.44 hectares of land.
