PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Opposition leader Sam Rainsy met Tuesday with Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong, Foreign Minister, at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Koy Kuong, spokesman for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, told reporters that Sam Rainsy met Hor Namhong to strengthen culture of dialogue and share a number of social issues.
Sam Rainsy shared information about Cambodian Muslim victims who were cheated and sold, Kuong said.
For this issue, Hor Namhong said that Ministry of Foreign Affairs has regularly advised its diplomats abroad to work on the issue, and the Ministry never wants to hear that anyone becomes a victim, he said.
This was the first time that Sam Rainsy met with Hor Namhong at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
