PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Kem Sokha, the first vice president of the National Assembly and vice president of CNRP, claimed, on Thursday, that Prince Norodom Ranariddh’s return to Funcinpec would pose no concern for the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party.
"I don't think the arrival of Prince to chair Funcinpec party will split the Cambodia National Rescue Party," Kem Sokha said at the Phnom Penh International Airport after his return from the visit to Europe.
Ranariddh said on Monday that that he decided to make the return to lead Funcinpec is not to split any political parties, but to re-unite the royalists and Sihanoukists.
