PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Prime Minister Hun Sen on Tuesday allowed French lawyers, Jean David Levitte and Gilbert Guillaume who used to work on Preah Vihear case, to meet with him at the Peace Palace.
Ieng Sophallet, Hun Sen's personal assistant, said that Gibert thanked Samdech Techo [Hun Sen] for allowing him to meet him.
Gibert was quoted by Sophallet as saying that he has never visited Cambodia in the last ten years, but this time he saw a lot of development in Cambodia.
Sophallet said Gilbert would visit Preah Vihear on Wednesday.
For Jean David, Sophallet said Jean David said that he used to visit in Cambodia 20 years ago, but now he finds out that Cambodia has changed a lot, and he expressed his impression over the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen.
Sophallet said Hun Sen thanked Jean David Levitte and Gilbert Gullaume that helped Cambodia over Preah Vihear case between Cambodia and Thailand at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
