Mr. Hun Sen loves the poors. He is trying to keep order and stability in Cambodia to bring jobs in for Cambodia and the poors. He wants to keep the salary to be competitive with other nations so that the investors don't shun Cambodia.
Burma's minimum wage is only $65 dollars a month. Vietnam's minimum wage is only $90-125 dollars a month. It is also a well known fact the Vietnamese garment workers can perform 12 different patterns and designs, Chinese garment workers can do 16. Burma garment workers can do 6. Cambodian garment workers can also do 6.
So, how can you demand a minimum salary of $177 dollars a month. Clearly it's nonsense. Already, this year the garment export for Cambodia has dropped by 4 percent. Vietnam's garment export surged 19% this year, 2014.
Last year 2013, Cambodia's garment export surged 21% while Vietnam's garment export only rose 15%. That's the way it should be. Cambodia is new and has a large untapped labor force.
But you folks fight and drive away the investors, orders.
You always fight. That's why Mr. Hun Sen post guards with guns at the national school exam. I knew in the past, Cambodian students went into riots and fought viciously against the teachers if the exams did not turn out the way they wanted.
You cannot succeed if you keep fighting like this. You cannot build a nation if you continue to fight like this. And frankly speaking, you cannot win any fight in competition or in battles if you continue to fight like this. You actually don't really fight, you riot.
I am a superior fighter, a trained Martial Artist myself. I do not riot.

Well, see, you guys want to censor my comments. So, you should not complain when the Cambodian government wants to censor your comments.
I have zero problem with the Cambodian government. I think the Cambodian government, and in particular, Mr. Hun Sen is the good guy. You folks are the bad guys.
Mr. Hun Sen and I are very similar, we both don't swear profanity. You guys do, and it's horrible. lol... See? That's why you guys are the bad guys.

This year, Cambodian has already experienced a drop in 4% in Garment export. That's terrible, a big reversal of the rapid rise from the last couple years. Clearly the opposition has succeeding in destroying Mr. Hun Sen's effort to bring more garment jobs for Cambodian poors.
This year, Vietnam suddenly have a surge in growth for the garment export. It went from 15% growth last year to this year rate of 19%!!! Normally, when you are getting big, your growth reduces. But Vietnam's got extra orders switching from Cambodia, so the growth increased!!!
Wait till next year, when Vietnam joins TPP trade pact with USA. The garment tariff of 17% will be gone. I don't see how Cambodia can compete with Vietnam next year. I am very certain Cambodian garment industry will be crushed unless Vietnam secretly helps Cambodia to survive. One way is to outsource to Cambodia, then relabeled as Made in Vietnam. Will see...
But you know Vietnam will get a cut in profit if Vietnam helps Cambodia....Vietnam will always be richer and more powerful.
Now, Vietnam is already ramping up hiring for next year. They have shortage of workers!!!

Yes, it does, indirectly. Now that the opposition joined the government, the opposition tries to get their share of the pie. So, they cause difficulty to start the business. To get the business started, people now have to bribe both parties, CPP and CNRP. Before, they only need to bribe CPP.
