PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Cambodian General Consul and officials said that they are currently contacting with Thai authorities to collect information and locate a place of Cambodian workers who were said to have been detained and tortured by Thai traffickers.
Chan Thy, 26, who claimed to be among the detained workers, via a telephone call on Saturday, said that about 90 workers have been detained for ten days in a house in Samuth Prakan province.
"Workers including girls and boys have their clothes taken off and money seized by the traffickers," Chan Thy said.
He added that a 8-year-old boy who followed their mother to Thailand died on Saturday after he was kicked by a Thai man.
Sim Sam Ath, a police officer at Poipet International Border Checkpoint, said he and Cambodian General Consul in Thailand's Sakaeo province are working with the Cambodian embassy officials and Thai authorities to collect information and find the place.

I told you, there are many unreported Khmer dying from abuses, murdered, or just plain exhaustion caused by the Thais.
For some strange reason, you folks look away when Thais abused you but try to pick fight with your savior and protector, Vietnamese.
Cambodia has a much higher birth rate than Vietnam but many Khmers died very young. Hence Cambodia's population is always low.
