PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Koy Kuong said that the Cambodian embassy in Beijing, China, helped two Cambodian women who had been cheated to get married to Chinese men in China's Zhejiang province.
He said the two women, Klok Rath and Mao Saroeun, came to the Cambodian Embassy in Beijing, asking the embassy to help them get divorced with their husbands and to send them back to the country.
He said the embassy sent the two, who get married and live with their husbands in Zhejiang province, to Cambodian Consulate in Shanghai on August 30.
Kuong added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Cambodian Consulate in Shanghai to prepare documents, and send them back to Cambodia soon.
