Two Thai military planes fly near Preah Vihear temple

PREAH VIHEAR (The Cambodia Herald) – Two Thai military planes were reportedly flying on Monday near Preah Vihear area.

One Thai jet flew at around 9:50am on Tasim, Veal Intri, Tathav areas, a Cambodian military source.

Another helicopter flew from east to west, the source said, but the two planes didn’t enter Cambodia’s air territory.

Cambodian officials at Preah Vihear temple said that the situation remained calm because Cambodia and Thai sides continued exchanging information.

Get prepared, when they cross our air space, shoot it down. No one coming into my home with weapons. I will shoot and kill you first and maybe ask questions later.

Khmer Armed Forces better get ready because Siam will try again. They failed to take Prasat Preah Vihear and Ta Krabey the last three tries.
Siam had a very series internal conflicts and they will use Cambodia as a rally cry to united their FAKE Land of Smile. Hun Sen better armed our forces with better Sam to knock out their helicopters, drones, low flying fighters. Start load and clean those BM-21 and 130MM artillery canons with oil. Discreetly move our infantry divisions close to those areas now. Make those Siam pay a high price for violating our land. Armed RCAF with more 120mm mortars, DK-75, DK-82 now.

I have mentioned before, the Thai Nationalists have a habit of escalating the border issues with Cambodia to drive their agenda and unite the country. Remember the yellow shirts who topple their government for not contesting the temple issue hard enough.

Cambodia defense budget for so long has been only at 150 million US dollars. Only in the last couple years, it was bumped up to 250, then 350 million. It is still vastly inferior to Thailand's defense budget which is more than 5 billion US dollars.

The current strategy for Mr. Hun Sen is to focus on capability to skirmish against Thailand (and win) only. On big war, Cambodia will not stand a chance against Thailand. That's where is Vietnam's coming to play. Vietnam will not permit Thailand's onslaught against Cambodia.

At the current issue, Cambodia has zero capability to shoot down those Thai warplanes. Cambodia has some SA-18 short ranges anti-air missiles supplied by Vietnam. Again, these missiles are only sufficient for skirmish fights, not a full scale fight.
