Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha to launch two-pronged missions

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Sam Rainsy, leader of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) left Cambodia yesterday via Thai Airways for Europe with an aim to report about the current situation in Cambodia.

 Mr. Yem Punharith, spokesperson for the CNRP, said that his leader would spend about 1 to 2 weeks abroad to seek to meet with European parliamentarians and Government officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a number of European countries.

 He added that while Mr. Kem Sokha would go down to meet with local people, Party’s members and activists and his supporters in various Provinces. His schedule is as follows:

1. 25 January 2014: Visit local people in Prey Veng Province
2. 26 January 2014: Visit local people in Kompong Cham Province, and
3. 27 January 2014: Visit local people in Kompong Thom Province.
