I support this protest and I believe the U.S cares more about this people than their Cambodian government. They need to keep their hope up. The wave is not always calm, when we cross the sea as knowing the land is merely distance away.
sometimes i have to laugh.. how little do khmer know about the way of the world... an outsider [ foreign country ] is not allowed to meddle in an internal affair of a country.... can the americans or french or germans protest in front of the cambodian embassies to demand the release of their people in jail , right now.. plenty of them have been wrongly thrown in jails... don't think for a moment that such thing cannot happen in these civilized countries....
We all know the moment the opposition reaches an agreement with Mr. Hun Sen and joins the parliament, these detained protesters will be released.
So, what is the hold up. Why is that the opposition are not being upfront about the disagreement? Why is that the opposition are not as willing as Mr. Hun Sen to meet for a talk?
Despite numerous calls from the international, the opposition still refused to meet for a talk.
