PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – Vorn Pov, President of Independent Democracy of Informal Economic Association (IDIEA), and 22 others, arrested in wage protest last week, were detained in Tropang Thlong prison of Kampong Cham province, according to human right activist.
The Phnom Penh Court decided to detain Vorn Pov and other nine protesters during a hearing on January 3 after they were arrested one day earlier. One day later, the court detained 13 protesters. All of them were charged with damaging public and private property.

That is right. It is difficult to fignt for Khmer right, but, fight for Vietnames' benefit is easy. All you have to do is give Vietnam island, land, and pretty much allow Vietnam do whatever it wants, is easy. Hey, why not let Vietname have their association with fully function as a resettlement springboard in every province-make it easy for Vietnam to turn this little land left of Khmer to Vietnamization. But, not allow to have Khmer Kampuchea to sit around more than a few people or risk jailing.
Vorn Pov, you are Khmer hero. There is traitor, then emerge the hero.
