PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Steve Mariotti, a renowned U.S. entrepreneur and educator, will conduct a series of speaking engagements in the Cambodian cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap from October 7-11, 2013.
The U.S. Speakers Series sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Information Programs and the U.S. Embassy aims to encourage young Cambodians to "fulfill their dreams" in becoming entrepreneurs and owning their own businesses.
Mr. Mariotti will speak to entrepreneur associations, high school and university students, and young aspiring entrepreneurs on a number of important topics, including how to generate business ideas, how to start a business, how to finance a business, how to market a product, how to be a business leader, and other tips on being a successful entrepreneur, according to a U.S. Embassy press release.
Steve Mariotti is best known for his pioneering work in at-risk youth education as well as being the founder of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, a global organization with offices in 11 countries, 1,800 teachers, and 550,000 graduates, the release said.
