PHNOM PENH, December 28, 2011 (Cambodia Herald) - , At least two more banks from Vietnam are planning to establish a presence in Cambodia, boosting the number of Vietnamese banks operating in the country to six, Tuoi Tre News reported Wednesday.The report quoted unidentified Vietnamese central bank sources as saying that Haiphong-based Maritime Bank planned to set up a wholly-owned banking operation in Cambodia and was also considering joint ventures in the securities, insurance, remittance and financial leasing sectors in both Cambodia and Laos.
