The CNRP must read this Khmerization's comment carefully, and stop acting stupidly.

Khmerization: This is the CPP's trick to find an excuse to dissolve the opposition parties, especially the CNRP, so the CNRP should never agree to this proposal.

Note: This was my old post in the KI before the 2013 election, right after Sam Rainsy returned to Cambodia.

ONE BATTLE FIELD THAT MAKES OR BREAKS THE CNRP

Vietnam and its puppet Hun Sen clearly knew that if the election was free and fair, they will lose badly. So, the puppet party and Vietnam need to keep the current NEC in order to accomplish their goal. They cannot give up the current NEC. These 2 evils – Vietnam and Hun Sen - stood their grounds.

The CNRP also knew that in order to win, it needs the NEC to be overhauled. The international community has overwhelmingly supported Mr. Subedy’s recommendation about the NEC’s reform.

So far, the CNRP has failed miserably by not pressing hard enough to make Mr. Subedy’s recommendation materialized.

The CNRP,

Your back is against the wall, there is no way to escape. You got to fight to death to get this NEC’s reform done before you proceed to the next step.

Here are some hypothetical scenarios that would likely to happen:

By being able to cheat, the CPP will win again. Then the CNRP’s supporters will mount a huge demonstration, denouncing the fraudulent election. But it will be extremely difficult to change the result of the election because we failed to take one important step – change the NEC first.

Right now, before the election, if the CNRP’s supporters mounted a huge demonstration to support Mr. Subedy’s recommendations for the NEC’s overhaul, the international community will strongly support the CNRP, and the chance that the CNRP won the election will be certain. The election will be postponed for a few months to accommodate the reform.

During this demonstration to reform the NEC, if the CPP violently suppressed the crowds, it will be punished by the international community. The violent crackdown on the demonstrators will give the international community a powerful leverage to intervene and press the CPP to reform the NEC.

The right timing is crucial.

This is the right time that the CNRP must execute its strategies by making this ONE NECESSARY demonstration before the election to reform the NEC.

New NEC = CNRP the winner

Old NEC = CNRP the loser

Here is a simple steps to change the NEC:

The CNRP had demanded the CPP to change the NEC. The CPP refused.
The CNRP must do a follow up by mounting a giant demonstration from now UNTIL THE ELECTION DAY, making the election IMPOSSIBLE so that Hun Sen could NOT proclaim himself as the winner. At this point, the international community will come in to force Hun Sen and his master the evil Vietnam to change the NEC.

Is this plan realistic enough for the CNRP to adopt ? We need to make a bold decision to save Cambodia. Please act swiftly if you have a better plan than my suggestion to change the NEC.

Once Hun Sen proclaimed himself as the winner, it would be difficult for the CNRP and the international community to reverse the outcome (fake outcome) of the election.

However, I will be so happy if the CNRP were able to stop the cheating without the NEC’s reform and won the election.

But if the CPP were the winner after the election, it would be the CNRP’s mistake for failing to press hard enough to get the NEC’s reform. And this mistake could cost the end of Cambodia.

Five years from now, there will be so much uncertainties. The time for the CNRP to win is now.

The CNRP,

The Ho Chi Minh's party CPP wanted all illegal Yuon in Cambodia to vote.
The CNRP must show some "teeth" to stop this deadly proposal from becoming the law or rules.

The CNRP must watch out for its "culture of dialogue", making sure that it is a 2 ways street.

If the CNRP just simply followed the Ho Chi Minh's party CPP, that was not a dialogue.

If the CNRP leaders were so afraid to die, the party should convene and let the core members vote for a new leader WITHIN the party and they (Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha) become the advisers for the party.

The CNRP cannot let this Yuon slave party CPP dictates the formation of the new NEC, and hope that the new NEC will be neutral.

Khmer people are so sick to see the CNRP's concessions to the CPP and the CNRP's softness. The CNRP must stand for what is right. Keeping giving in to the CPP will only encourage this crook party CPP to demand for more from the CNRP.
