PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Kem Sokha, the vice president of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), denied on Thursday that he said in a meeting that Sam Rainsy took USD 20 millions, and there were leftover USD 20 millions.
He made comments after Lak Sopheap, a former member of CNRP's Board of Directors, said recently that Kem Sokha raised the corruption case of USD 40 millions in the meeting.
"There is no something strange. In this matter, Lak Sopheap herself mentioned it, and I never raised it in the meeting," Sokha told reporters at Phnom Penh International Airport after his return from Europe.
But she denied raising the issue during a meeting with CNRP's disciplinary committee members.

I never trust much anything Kem has said over the years. He makes so many mistakes. But people should look and investigate closely at this.
