PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Opposition party leader Sam Rainsy on Wednesday expressed disappointment after his two leading lawmakers failed in votes for the posts of chairpersons of the National Assembly's eighth and tenth commissions.
He said he would push for proper solution in accordance with July 22 agreement.
"It is the rights of Cambodia National Rescue Party to select candidates for chairmanship posts of the two commissions," he told reporters, believing that there will be proper solution in a very near short future.
When asked if it affects the political agreement, Rainsy said we try to maintain our memory, and for the CNRP we respect this agreement one hundred percent, and we urge our partner party to respect this one hundred percent too.
Mu Sochua and Yim Sovann haven't been elected into the National Assembly's Commission on Health Care, Social and Veterans' Affairs, Youth Rehabilitation, Labor, Vocational Training and Women's Affairs, and Commission on Investigation, Clearance and Anti-Corruption, respectively.
Of 122 lawmakers from CPP, CNRP , who joined the session, only 56 voted in favor of them, 63 voted against and 3 abstained. They needed 63 votes.
Ms.Ke Sovanrath was then elected to replace Mu Sochua as the chairwoman of the eighth commission. Ho Vann replaced Yim Sovann as the chairman of the tenth commission.
The two are also senior officials from Cambodia National Rescue Party.

For the next PEACEFUL demonstration after the next election, if Hun Sen and his master the merchant of war Vietnam knew that at least 100,000 students have determined to sacrifice their lives to defend justice and to save Cambodia, Hun Sen and Vietnam will think twice before firing any shot to the crowd. Hun Sen will force himself to transfer the power because he could not kill 100,000 students.
This way, Khmer people will not see any bloodshed and the winner of the election, the CNRP, will get the power to lead Cambodia.
Finally, the fate of Cambodia is in the Khmer Youths’ hands. They have to rise to the biggest occasion and save Cambodia by cementing their solidarity starting from now. The process to form a formidable solidarity takes 2 or 3 years, and they have those years to work with.

Never trust Hun Sen. Even he signed the agreement already he still breaks his promise. He is a very dishonest person to deal with.
Hmm...I bet Bun Thoeun is not a youth. He is calling for 100,000 youths to face danger and death. Why can't those those youths have jobs and lives?

At the Fukushima, the old engineers, those over 60s near retirement age, volunteer to enter the stricken reactors to face certain death from the radiation. Their reasoning was simple, "We don't have much life left. We give our lives up so that the young ones can live."
The Khmer old folks are clever. They used the naive youths to do the danger work for them. Nasty Khmer. Shame on you.
As I said many times before. The Thais sacked Khmer capital repeatedly. Each time, the smart and brave Khmer were killed or captured/taken away. What's left today are dumb and coward Khmers such as Bun Thoeun.

I read the news, recently there were a number Vietnamese who did self-immolation in protest against China. One died in USA, one died in Vietnam, and a couple others were saved before the fire consumed them.
During the Vietnam war, the Vietnamese monks were famous for doing self-immolation. The Tibetan monks have been doing a number of self-immolation.
I am not encouraging the Khmer to do self-immolation, but I will point out the fact that there is no Khmer self-immolation. Your race is mostly cowards. You have been creamed by the Thais repeatedly. The brave Khmer mostly died in battles against the Thais.
Please, you need to look at yourselves and learn your place. Vietnamese are superior, smarter, braver.

You need to explain clearly. Not only that you show your incompetency, you also show fake Democracy. You don't respect others' vote. If CPP want to vote for Ms.Ke Sovanrath, it's their Democratic right to vote, isn't it?
Why do CNRP always protest, accuse this and that when the vote did not go the way they want. What kind of Democracy is this? You already want the outcome in a certain way, then what is the point for voting at all?
CNRP need to learn true Democracy and start to respect others' vote, especially 2013 vote. The people chose CPP and voted for them. Respect that.
