Kem Sokha, acting president of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), led the party senior officials Thursday to place flowers and pay respect to the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk.
PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Kem Sokha, acting president of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), led the party senior officials Thursday to place flowers and pay respect to the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk.
The ceremony was held at the stupa of late King Father, located in the East of Independence Monument.
Sokha and other CNRP's lawmakers as well as senators of Sam Rainsy Party also joined the ceremony at the Royal Palace.
Kem Sokha told reporters that CNRP followed the ideas of King Father in resolving the national issues, and the CNRP wants the issues to be resolved before the anniversary of general election on July 28.
