Cambodian, Burmese, Laotian ambassadors visit Samut Prakarn’s One Stop Service

SAMUT PRAKARN, 7 July 2014 (NNT) –The three ambassadors from Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos today visited the One Stop Service established for the registration of migrant workers, and praised the policy of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) for addressing the labor problems. 

H.E. Ly Bounkham, Laotian ambassador to Thailand, said that he is very impressed by the process used by the Center which only takes 45 minutes to complete. The Cambodian ambassador to Thailand H.E. Eat Sophea thanked Thai authorities for inviting her and counterparts to visit the Center and is confident that the process is transparent. This will benefit to all migrant workers. 

Also, the Burmese ambassador to Thailand, H. E. U Win Maung, noted that he hopes to see Burmese workers who have registered with the Center working without problems. Employers are invited to register Burmese workers legally.
