PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – Prime Minister Hun Sen on Saturday led a Cambodian delegation to attend the 24th ASEAN summit and related meetings in Nay Pyi Taw, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The meetings will be held from 10-11 May 2014.
Srey Thamrong, a minister attached to Hun Sen, said that the Cambodian delegation accompanying Hun Sen included Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Commerce Minister Sun Chanthol, Economy Minister Aun Pornmonirath, and Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron as well as other members of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
The 24th ASEAN summit is expected to discuss the important issues concerning ASEAN Community building, ASEAN’s external relations, ASEAN Community’s post-2015 vision, and regional and international issues of common interest and concerns, according to a statement issued recently by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
