ការស្ទង់មតិ របស់អង្គការ "វិទ្យាស្ថាន អន្តរជាតិ សាធារណរដ្ឋ" នៃសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក (International Republican Institute) បង្ហាញថា គណបក្សសង្រេ្គាះជាតិ បានទទួលសន្លឹកឆ្នោត ច្រើនជាងគណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ក្នុងការបោះឆ្នោត ថ្ងៃ ២៨ កក្កដា ២០១៣។ ៤៦ ភាគរយ នៃអ្នកបោះឆ្នោត បានបញ្ជាក់ថា ពួកគេទៅបោះឆ្នោតពីព្រោះ "ប្រទេសត្រូវការ ...ការផ្លាស់ប្តូរ" ដូចអ្វីដែល គណបក្សសង្រេ្គាះជាតិបានលើកឡើង ។ មានតែ ៤១ ភាគរយប៉ុណ្ណោះ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកបោះឆ្នោត ដែលបញ្ជាក់ថា ពួកគេជ្រើសរើសគណបក្សដែលគេបោះឆ្នោតឲ្យ ដោយសំអាងលើ "ការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ប្រទេសដ៏ល្អប្រសើរ" ស្របតាមការលើកឡើងរបស់គណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា។


Refering to the vote intention at the 28 July 2013 election, a recent survey by the Washington-based I.R.I. shows that 46% of voters wanted a change for the country when casting their ballot (which most likely meant a vote for the opposition CNRP), while 41% went to vote to express their satisfaction with the country's past development (which most likely meant a vote for the ruling CPP).
