PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – Military Police are committed to protect the Cambodian government and constitution, said Sao Sokha, National Military Police Commander.
The MP commander strongly reacted to the latest situations, which led to the demand for the resignation of legitimate Prime Minister.
He said that there were extremist groups, which had provoked protests in a bid to overthrow the government.
Earlier this month, the government’s anti-riot police launched heavy-handed crackdowns on the protests of garment workers who demanded the wage increase from USD 80 to USD 160. Five people were killed, 40 injured and 23 protesters arrested in the bloody crackdowns.

However, only khmer's security forces can protect my daily life from lawless peoples in PHN...
