HA NOI (Viet Nam News/ ANN)— Two-way trade between Vietnam and Cambodia
in the first four months of the year reached nearly US$1.3 billion, a 10
per cent rise over the same period last year.
According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia, Vietnam's exports to Cambodia fetched over $1 billion while its imports were $253 million in the four-month period.
Some Vietnamese commodities saw double increases in export turnover, including fruit and vegetables, and fiber.
However, the export turnover of high-value products such as oil and gas, and steel dropped compared to the same period last year.
During the period, Cambodia's exports to Vietnam slightly increased with such staples as corn, tobacco materials, rubber and wooden products.
