UDOR MEANCHEY, 12 March 2013 (The Cambodia Herald) -- Two brothers were shot dead
Monday by Thai soldiers while they were illegally crossing the border to
log expensive timber, border officials said.
The shootings took place 9 kilometers from Tropang Brasad District where some border authorities had allowed illegal loggers to cross.
Thai soldiers open fired at 12 loggers killing Chhiv Chheng, 40, and his younger brother Chhiv Touch, whose bodies are still believed to be in the forest.
The remaining ten managed to escape back into Cambodia on Tuesday. Touch Ra, officer at the Cambodia-Thai Border Relations office, said Thailand will inform necessary Cambodian authorities over the incident, and will send their corpse back when found.
Hun Sen had recently urged border officers, military and relevant authorities to tighten up laws and prevent people from illegally entering Thailand to log.

A report presented by the Ministry of Interior said 45 people had been killed last year for illegal border crossings and logging.
That number was 3 time larger compared to 2011 and 5 times more compared to 2010, the report stated.

What have our poor people got left to survive,all farmlands,lakes,rivers and forest have been sold for 99 years by Hun and its clans?
Economic time bomb,selling off the country,High debt policy by Hun Sen is pushing our people into extreme poverty and it going to create a bloody revolution or war in the very near future.
What have Hanoi's puppet regime done to protect poor people from doing this? As millions of our poor people living less than a few dollars per day? Or have they condemned Bangkok for their breaching human Right,killing our innocent people before proven guilty by the court?
It is an act of savagery and a cold blood murder of an uncivilized Thai nation on our poor people.Thai soldiers had been known to shell into our land and kill hundred of innocent people in refugee camp for their training in the 80's and 90's.Bangkok should be brought to the Hague for their breach of Human right.
