BANTEAY MEANCHEY, 30 April, 2012 (Cambodia Herald) – Ten Cambodians died and another 20
were injured in two weekend road accidents in the central Thai province
of Chachoengsao, police said.
Pich Vanna, of the Cambodian-Thai Border Relations Office, said the first accident on Saturday killed four Cambodians including two women. The second killed six Cambodians including another two women.
He said Cambodian authorities were trying to repatriate the bodies which were sent to a Thai hospital along with the injured.
The Cambodians had entered Thailand to work illegally, the official said.
