PHNOM PENH, 2 May 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Authorities led by the Phnom Penh
Municipal Court arrested six Vietnamese and five Cambodians for drug
trafficking in overnight raids across four districts of Phnom Penh,
sources said Wednesday.
The raids in Sen Sok, Por Sen Chey, Chamka Mon and Mean Chey districts confiscated materials used for making drugs. The identities of those arrested were not disclosed although police said four were girls.
The 11 arrested, suspected of being part of a large-scale trafficking ring, were detained in Por Sen Chey district, police said, adding that the operation was still ongoing.
