PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Cambodia dismissed Thursday a Thai newspaper report describing Prime Minister Hun Sen and former Thai premier Thaksin Shinawatra as "twins from hell."
Council of Ministers spokesman Phay Siphan said the Naewan article intended to annoy both the Cambodian and Thai governments and opposed peace between the two countries.
Responding to Naewan's charges that Hun Sen and Thaksin both "bought" lawmakers, Phay Siphan noted that members of parliament in the two countries were elected.
Naewan published the article, attributed to a writer identified as Prachanthai Thonnarong, on Monday.
