HUN SEN TO MEET SAME FATE AS GADDAFI’S
On behalf of the Cambodian people, the Sam Rainsy Party, Cambodia’s second largest party with over 1.3 million votes, congratulates the Libyan people on the liberation of Libya from the dictatorship of Muammar Gaddafi. We all learned with jubilation and admiration the entry in Tripoli yesterday of the valiant Libyan freedom fighters under the direction of Libya’s National Transitional Council.
Earlier this year, opposition leader Sam Rainsy declared in Manila, “The worst regimes in terms of crimes and impunity are those whose autocratic leaders have been in power for the longest period of time,” and he called for the formation of a “Peoples’ alliance for the removal of multi-decade dictators.” He associated Cambodia’s Hun Sen (32 years in power) with Tunisia’s Ben Ali (removed after 23 years in power), Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak (removed after 30 years in power), Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi (JUST removed after 42 years in power!), Yemen’s Ali Abdullah Saleh (to be removed after 33 years in power) and Syria’s Bashar al-Assad (to be removed after 40 years of dictatorship including his father Hafez al-Assad’s 29-year reign of terror).

DON'T DESTROY OUR COUNTY,
DON'T DAMAGED OUR COUNTRY
IF, WANTED SAME SITUATIONS AS GADDAFI
CAMBODIA, WILL BE DESTROYED BIG TIME
Foreign country and foreign's policy are trying to destroy our country again...Just like they did in the past!
DON'T WORRY, THE ALLIES WHO JOIN HANDS WILL RECONSTRUCTED BACK UP AFTER THE DICTATOR REGIME IS GONE
Finally, Cambodia has peace and stability for the past 20 years; people were able to visit their families and some went back to do businesses became millionairs and now we have people that wanted regime changed like other countries because it is the right thing to do not realizing how regime changed will bring destruction to the country. I wonder where those countries that went through regime changed and where they are at today? Who help them? Many Cambodian that are old enough to know 4 regimes changed brought us nothing but self destruction and backward thinking ideology. Do you think Vietnam doesn't want regime change? They do but they are willing to risk a destruction of their country. Vietnamese can't even vote like Cambodia. The N. Vietnam government handed pick couple leaders and the party leaders voted for the Prime Minister. However, Vietnam economically continues to strive strong and continue to gain more momentum in Southeast Asia. Many of them voice similar concerns about democracy but they are willing to bring their country to stone like in the past Vietnam War era. Cambodia on the other hand continues to gain its edge on economic and democracy. People needed to question the intention the reasons why people wanted regime changed and what that particular person or group can bring for the country? Do we want to risk it all what we have built for the past 20 years to go back and living in stone age, the lifestyle of hide and seek each night through gun battle? Do we want regime change through peaceful election and continue to hand over the power peacefully? Sam Rainsy probably say, well PM Hun Sen will never give up power. I am challenging you to win the election first, then see what happens if he didn't turn over the power. Last election not even close to compare data. I realized the Mr. Sam Rainsy wanted Prime Ministership so bad and willing to risk it all but Cambodian people is not ready for your leadership. Cambodian cannot be fooled to think that other country will help us reconstruct our poor country for destruction especially with the world economy continue to tumble like a domino affect. Just look at those countries that had regime changed. The question, where are they economically? Cambodian needed to scrap the ideology of regime change through gun battle because we have seen enough killings and our country continues to get weaker each time there is civil war. Who would want to invest in the war zone country? Vietnam, Thailand and Loas have dispute internally like Cambodia too or worse since they can't vote except Thailand. Don't think for a moment that these countries don't have it internal problems but they are smart enough not to let different ideologies led to self destruction. Don't destroy your country because of your personal agenda.
Warrior Blood
Good comment Warrior Blood.
Yes, Do not expect other counties will help us to reconstruct after destruction. Those countries firstly need to feed their people. As you see Cambodia is on the right way to rebuilt and strengthen the country. Cambodia need to goforward step by step and do not compare with the countries that already has 50, 100,200+ years in building their countries. Cambodia has to deal with whatever it does for the country move forward.
Cambodia has work so hard to united all cambodian people from all parties(UNITED)...Our country is stable and growing little by little everday, now the outsider want to destroy my cambodia again..?? Cambodia suffering because of the outsiders interference...They only knew how to ran away when cambodia is drowning!!
No dictator will rule forever. Hun Sen, if not stepping down voluntarily, will meet the same fate as Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi one day. It is a matter of time, not if, if he continues to rule and abuse his power.
I know that many Viet intellectuals want to have regime change, but they keep quiet because they see that their communist system is working hard for their country and especially they see that Hanoi are so successfully in suppressing Khmer Krom and also expanding their territory along Khmer Viet border. They also realize that if Viet is a democratic country it will lead to problem with Khmer Krom set free from Viet and that is no good for their struggle to become democracy.
Cambodia is a different scenario, as you know that since most of the CPP leaders are Hanoi's puppets. As a result you have now seen Cambodia are plunging into a country that behave like a family that parent do not care for the rest of their family members. And not just caring the parent also have sold their famland and leave their children under age to go about and work abroad as slaves, some were killed burnt alive, some were raped and tortured and so on.
One important issue is that Cambodia has no restriction on Viet citizen who come to settle at all.Cambodia is a small nation and size too if this Viet migation do not stop in 10-15 years Cambodia will be simply becoming another state of Hanoi, since most of the Viet in Cambodia are having full right to vote.
Change is the only way to save Cambodia from disappearing,if there is no change we probably lose our country forever.
Do you know that Angkor Wat is run by Vietnamese businessmen Xoc Kong? What could be more insulting to us all as Khmer than that?
Can you be happy and sleep well knowing that Cambodia land have been encroached by Hanoi and you not allowed to say nothing?
You have to be a zombies idiot to live under Hun leadership.
What is wrong to be free?
A nation without freedom is a nation in big prison.
True Khmer
U're an idiot, Warrior Blood.
Progress at what cost to 90% of the people and the country's resources?
The progress has benefited only Hun Sen and Cronies! Stability or Oppression?
Abusing ur people and plunder the country resources for a few is good?
He is no better than Pol Pot. At least PP didn't sellout his country to whoever will buy it and enriched himself and his cronies.
He must go one way or the other. The wealth of the country and the people, that his and him cronies stole, must be return.
I agree with Warrior Blood. Ankor Wat doesnt run by Vietnamese idiot. The man was born in Cambodia and yes his background is Vietnamese Chinese. Why punish a person because of his background. If Cambodia continues to have backward thinking like that, we will get no where. How many real Cambodian provide jobs, strengthen economy? Each time another Cambodian became millionairs, Cambodian called them Vietnamese, Chinese etc. Why can't Cambodian become millionairs? This type of mentality is the one that look down on Cambodian race not knowing it. Sok Kong loves Cambodia as much as others. How many people he employs? thousands.. ok. Everytime Cambodian sucessful, they said he/she must have Vietnamese or Chinese blood. This is bullshit thinking. If a man is green but he loves Cambodian and did good for Cambodian. Do you still hate him?
Some poster should better go to Cambodia to see. I feel some poster seem to be the enemy of Cambodia. Their comment seem like terrorist. by comparing with Pol Pot, My doubt is had you ever been in Pol Pot regime. Everyone knew how lives in the regime were except the members of the high ranking leaders may not know how much suffered the lives faced. Please be optimistic about your country running on the right track if you are Khmer. Politic is not something should be changed overnight except you want the Cambodia land to be the bloodtub.
Do not use Cmabodia people to be the battle field shield. Oposition should try the other way around to help the country by peaceful mean not by blood/war. you want to win the election it is up to you what can do to win.
Pro-no political party
I urge opposition to look at the pole before starting revolution. There more voter on the government side. Don't be fooled. You can't even afford to pay the party sign on the street. How are you doing to find future for Cambodian?
The Viet Cong's puppets must go at all cost. They're destroying our country resources day by day. Nobody wants to destroy their own country but look what the CPP did to Cambodia? The Viet Congs are all over our cities controlling high level sector jobs and soon or later you will be their slaves serving ah Yeak Cong. We must protect our ancestors culture and heritage that they long been preserve for us and future generation to come. I hope the Viets' puppet leaders will wake up and be united and share one common goal that is to protect our country and kick the Viet Cong out of our lands. Khmer Krom should gain their Independence from Hanoi and dammit stop repressing our Khmer Krom brothers and sisters.
Hun sen and his muppets must go. Sure the country is advancing but at what cost. Cambodians need to rise and kick this fool out of power. How could you live in a country with no free speech. There will be no peace until hun sen and his cronies are dead. How could one live in a country where everyone is scared of the rich nd their 4wds. They are in it for personal gain pocketing aid money. Even havvtheir minions asking for money at the airports. If cambodia had a proper governmnent it would be a much better place.
The rice cooked now they wanted to come in an eat it and threw away the pot. Where were they during chaos time.ពួកអាអ្នកចេះដឹងរត់ចោលស្រុក ពេលគេដាំបាយឆ្អិនទើបមកស៊ីហើយចង់ទាត់អ្នកដាំបាយទៀត Now, Sam Rainsy claimed they are not good enough to led the country. What a moron. We don't need you Sam Rainsy. You better not come into Cambodia without body guard. We will not allow you to have your stupid revolution.
Why are we who opposed a dictator,Hun Sun, the enemy of KHMER?
We love our land and people that why we speaks.
Just read all these blogs on this site about what the CPP are doing for itself and its doing to the country and our poor and unconnected people.
Look at what the ruling class are doing.
1. They stayed about the laws and expect everyone else to follow?
2. They evicts the poors and uncconected from their lands to enrich their pockets at a cost to the environments, the poor and the country.
3. They silence who ever and whom ever speak against them.
4. The political systems in Cambodia is "Pay to Play".
Now let me name all the country that are stable and rules by dictators:
Tunsia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran.
It is oppression and not stable.
The longer you oppress people the harder they are going to explode.
We all know what happen when you put pressure on a boiling pot. And like hot water, to be in a stable stage, the lid must open and heat turn down or off. People are like boiling water.
Abusing your people is not progress
Abusing your country resources and
environment is not progress
RE: The Rice is Cooked.
But with the people's stolen rice.
You eat their rice while they starved.
It will be no long before the pot boil over. You reap what you sow.
