Mr. Yont Tharo (pictured), an MP from the opposition Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) who is a native Khmer Krom, has written a letter to Vietnamese Embassy asking the Vietnamese authority to arrest mobsters who killed two Khmer Krom youths and wounded 11 others in a racist attack on 2nd of September.
Mr. Yont Tharo said on Wednesday afternoon that today he will also send a letter to Mr. Son Song Son, a Khmer Krom leader appointed by Vietnam, to ask him to help urge Vietnamese authority to investigate and arrest those mobsters who brutally attacked and killed the Khmer Krom youths.
On 2nd of September, a Vietnamese village mob in Rong Domrei (Tay Ninh) province attacked a group of Khmer Krom youth and killed Chau Net on the spot and seriously wounded 11 others, while 20 others had escaped unhurt. Later, one more wounded person died in the hospital.
Mr. Tharo said he will try with all his efforts to urge the Vietnamese authority to bring those mobsters, who killed Khmer Krom people who has Khmer Krom blood just like him, to justice.
