Vocabulary/language transference (as opposed to vocabulary-loans or invasion) is evidence of gradual absorption/swarming by the Tai as Michael Vickery has suggested ?

The thesis is very interesting. It covers in details the cognates and correlations between the Khmer and Thai languages. But above all, the thesis's focus was on the usage and the penetrations of Khmer vocabularies into the Thai language. I recommend everybody to read it. I'd also like to thank Mr. Bora Touch for providing this document.

Don't forget Khmer numbers are on all Thai national included on all Thai currency.
Thai culture, the system of writing and language are all borrowed and adapted from Khmer.
