In June 2008, a group of Thai ultra-nationalists protested in the front gate of Preah Vihear temple which culminated into a Thai invasion of the areas surrounding the temple on 15th July 2008.

A source from Thailand's Konkaen province said the "yellow shirt" protesters, led by ultra-nationalist Vira Sumkwamkid, plan to march to Preah Vihear temple on 28th August to show to the world who "owns the Preah Vihear temple".
Mr. Vira in the past has campaigned relentlessly for the annexation of the 4.6 km2 of the areas surrounding the Preah Vihear temple, where they are shown to be located inside Cambodian territories by the 1908 map agreed between Cambodia and Thailand.
Mr. Vira Sumkwamkid, who is head of People Against Corruption in Sisaket, said the group will invite all media and the Thai people to march to Sisaket and then to Preah Vihear temple, from Phu Makeu village to Ta Thav Pass to prove whether the area is a Cambodian or Thai territory.
The group plans to gather at a Spirit House at Kantaralak village to collect the true data/information to send to the Thai parliament. There are also reports that this untra-nationalist group will also gather in front of the Thai parliament to convince the MPs not to support the Khmer-Thai border draft agreement.
The Thai parliament is scheduled to ratify the agreement signed between Cambodia and Thailand on border resolution this Friday, but a group of 40 Thai senators planned to block the agreement in the Senate.

Here we go again, now what... Just as dust settled between Thai and Khmer, the Thai protesters are at it again to stir things up, inflaming and provoking Cambodia. These pestering animals need to be educated that Preah Vihea forever belongs ONLY to Cambodia. There are so much in Thailand that belong to Cambodia that Cambodia didn't even ask to return. The Thai should be very thankful for that, but instead they want what is rightfully belongs to Cambodia. They are truly an ignorance and wrongly educated bastards. Their government surely did a serious mental damage to these people in confusing what are truth and what are lies. I feel very disgustingly bad for these people.
The Cambodian government should not take the threats of these Thai ultra-nationalists lightly. When they threatened to storm Preah Vihiear in June 2008, the Cambodian government ignored their threats and then they stormed the temple, we arrested them and then the Thais sent their troops to invade the areas. This time it will happen again. Cambodian sovereignty and territorial integrity must be protected at all cost.
it is now beyond enough is enough with this damn group of siem. in these past few weeks and months, the bastard siem soldiers have shot and killed many unarmed Khmer workers hired by the siem companies to do work for them. we should now apply the same treatment to these animal siems when they dare to step on our soil. it is within our rights to defend our territory and sovereignty.
3:04 PM, I totally agree with you. The Thais have shot and killed too many Khmers already. It's time we apply a tit for a tat response. Our soldiers should shoot at the Thais when they cross illegally into Khmer territories to see how the Thais feel.
Totally agree with all of you and those Thai bastard have serious brain damage.
Why wasting too much times with this issue. Show Siems we have the rights to defend our sovereignty and territorial integrity.
If they crossed the line, we have the rights to attack them.
