Vietnamese settlers in Cambodia enjoy full freedom. They are basically are illegal settlers, but CPP protected them and encourage them to settle so that they would get bigger vote. Where as Khmer Krom who are indigenous people living in their motherland, being suppressed. They are not allowed to listen to Khmer radio or watch Khmer TV.That what I call refugees in our motherland.

What do you think? Have Hanoi been fair to us as Khmer people?.I told you that Cambodia have been under Hanoi's grand design since 1953.And we are still under its's mechanism.

To free our country is to be free from CPP.

Be warned of Youn(Viet) involvement in Cambodia for any reason. The parasites could eventually infect and kill Cambodia. There might be no cure if Khmer aren't seeing the whole pictures. Youn ultimate plan is to take that last piece of Khmer territory call Cambodia. Don't fool yourself into thinking that Youn have no desire of that. If if took them 700 plus years to take Champa(now central Vietnam) and 300 years to take Cochinchina(Kampuchea Krom, or now south Vietnam), even if it takes them a thousand years, they are willing to do that. Youn Hanoi are ever increasing its grabhold of Cambodia throught various diversions. The ever increasing closer-tie relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam is part of that diversion, to numb the hearts and minds of Khmer populations. They are being politically drug to feel no impact of Hanoi's dark agendas. Since Khmer are very easily fooled anyway, this will only make Youn achieve that goals easier. Look at Khmer and Youn history and you shall clearly see the answer. If you refuse or being naive to see the bigger pictures, you're only victimizing yourself. See it now while you still have eyes. When Youn totally blind Khmer, then Khmer is no more. I hope this is Khmer greatest fear.

By loyalty to Vietnam and by serving their particular interests, they served the interests of Annam!

Reading from Histoire du Cambodge depuis le 1er siècle de notre ère par Adhémard Leclère, Paris, Librairie Paul Geuthner, 1914, p. 475-476.

Champa was not still definitively absorbed that already the Annameses of Cochin China or Annam, governed by Nguyên, undertook to extend in Cambodia. At first in 1618, king of Annam had sent daughter to King Chey Chetha of Cambodia. He obtained from his son-in-law, in 1623, the territory of Saigon to create a market there and collect customs duties there. In 1658, he took a stand with princes Botom Reachea and Ang Tan, against king Chan, a Muslim converted. Meanwhile Nguyên favored the exodus of all the scamps, all the escapees of the chain, people who, arisen from families having already immigrated from Tonkin to Cochin China to emigrate from Cochin China to Cambodia and infiltrate through the Cambodian populations, establish there and to evade taxes requisitioned by the Khmers, claim to come under king of Huê and owe nothing to King of Cambodians. Soon, king of Huê sent them Annam’s mandarins, pretending to oblige them to obey the laws of the country in which they lived; and these people, messengers to maintain the order and to help the Cambodian governors, were to act as Annam’s governors! Under this constant pressure of people of bag and rope, mischievous in Cochin China, colonists in Cambodia and devoted subjects of king of Annam, the areas of Baria or Barea, that of Daung Nay and of Prey kor were populated by Vietnamese and became depopulated by Cambodians. In 1580, king of Annam sent on the territories of Baria and Mytho, 3000 Chinese partisans of the dynasty of Minhs who having landed on the coast of Annam, had gone to Tourane, and about whom he did not know what to do at home that he dreaded. In this way, becoming the patron of Chinese immigrants by giving them lands in Cambodia, king of Huê annexed de facto if not de jure, a territory and had supporters within the country coveted. Towards the same period, a Chinese named Mac-cuu, also Minh's partisan, established in Peam ( Hatien), was made there pirate, ran away to himself a principality at the cost of the kingdom in Cambodia there and, for him made sure, returned for his tribute to king of Huê. This one accepted the tribute, and this other Cambodian territory was, therefore, annexed to Annam ( 1715 ).
On top of these peaceful, otherwise loyal means, the Annam’s general who commanded Saigon, managed the action of his fellow countrymen with a big skill and coordinated towards the same purpose the efforts of the diverse authorities, the decided auxiliaries and the immigrants who, by serving their particular interests, served the interests of Annam
The general did not stop intervening in the wars that broke out in Cambodia, by siding with the princes who came to him, against those who were directed to Siam, and each time, to pay his intervention, annexed one or two districts in Cambodia.
The Siamese also made for the North and both peoples, from whom kingdoms were separated by that of the Cambodians, eventually became nearby by their greed and enemy as if their territorial border had been common.

This is old story. The land was vast and people were sparcedly populated. It is all different now and age. It's good to be on guard, but in the Internet age, no one can grab our land like that. Once the CPP is gone, we will rebuild Srok Khmer.

A Beauty with deceiving heart. In 1307, Cham King Jaya Simhavraman 8(Che Man), the builder of Po Klaung Garat in Panduranga ceded 2 northern provinces to Dai Viet in exchange for the hand marriage of a beautiful Viet princess. Not long after, King Che Man died and the Viet princess returned to her northern home to avoid Cham tradition that would required her to jion her husband in death. However; the land that Che Man had rashly ceded were not returned back to Champa. A murder of her husband for Dai Viet nation or just a coicidence?

Khmer should becoming smarter and should know how to beat Vietnamese game with different strategy.First of all Khmer ought to aware of the make up of Vietnamese population. The minority of Vietnamese who are generally poor and live on high land were of ethnic Khmer-Mon of first wave who migrated East from Tibet region. Then the majority of our Khmers were the 2nd wave and the majority of Mons were the 3rd wave. We Khmer should treat these dark skin minority Viets more gently and embrace them like our own if they happen to come and live with us.They will love Khmer and rebecome Khmers and never ever look down on them please. There were still some remnants of Chams who are careless of Viets supremacy. Why allow Viet associations to care for these people and we neglect them ?
And now for the real hard core Viets descendants of Minh Mang! We Khmer were/are not lazy like your Minh Mang might think of us! We just needed some relax and it comes to pass now. Look at the size of our Barays and the height of our Temples, you know that we are not dumb and lazy.If you come to live with us you have to respect us and learn our ways of life. Do not be so noisy!

10:12 PM, haven't you heard how Vietnam(Dai Viet and Annam) expand its territory? What make you think Youn will assimilate into Cambodian population like the Chinese would in Cambodia. Youn will always be Youn, especially now, when they have all the previlages and rights they can get from Hun Sen and the support of Hanoi government. That's how Khmer lost lands because we always choose to see no threat and go for an appeasement. This only give enemies more strength to push us. Khmer should be very protective of their land. When there are historical enemies freely walking into our land, we can't just assume they're coming for good reasons. Khmer need to empower themselves and stop being victimize by an enemies that are no humanly difference than us. By now, Khmer should learn enough of their slippery eel tactics to steal from Khmer. Stop being naive and become protective of our land. Raising alarm and bring awareness through support comments like above is one simple way. I like to see Cambodia still exist as a nation in the coming decades and centuries. I'll be damn if Cambodia is to become another Champa, Laos(?), or Khmer Krom.
Cambodia is the last stronghold for Youn trying to conquer Indochina.
