Authorities are still looking for more evidences to implicate more advisors of Mr. Chea Sim, who is the senate president and president of the ruling Cambodian People's Party, in the fraud cases after 5 of his most senior advisors had been arrested last week on charges of forgery and fraud.
A spokesman for the National Military Police said the authorities are still investigating to find other culprits who had used Mr. Chea Sim's name to commit fraud and document forgery for personal benefits. He said other individuals who were involved in the cases could be arrested and sent to court soon.
The investigation into document forgery and fraud involving Chea Sim's advisors had been expanded after the arrests of Mrs. Pheng Kunthea Borey, chief of protocol of Mr. Chea Sim, Gen. Chan Kosal, Gen. Ponlork Ho and Gen. Khieu Bora, who were arrested last week. The arrests of these senior Chea Sim's advisors came after Gen. Chhoeun Chanthan, chief of Chea Sim's bodyguard unit, who was arrested in early August for fraud, had implicated them in a series of document forgery and fraud involving a $500 million investment project with Malaysian investors.
Reactions to the arrests of these individuals are mixed. Some had applauded the arrests, while others suggested that the arrests were politically motivated and concocted by Mr. Hun Sen to weaken his chief political rival and eventually destroy him politically.
However, Gen. Yim Leang, new chief of Chea Sim's bodyguard, a Hun Sen loyalist who was appointed as Chea Sim's new chief bodyguard after the arrest of Gen. Chhoeun Chanthan in August, said the arrests were not politically motivated, but rather they were carried out in accordance with the laws.

ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍នេះបាននាំឲ្យមានការអត្ថាធិប្បាយផ្សេងៗពីគ្នា។ ជាទូទៅ ការបោសសម្អាតមន្ត្រីខិលខូចនៅក្បែរខ្លួនអ្នកធំបានទទួលការអបអរ សាទរ។ ប៉ុន្តែ មនុស្សមួយចំនួនបានចោទជាសំណួរថា តើហេតុអ្វីបានជាការបោសសម្អាតធ្វើឡើងតែចំពោះមន្ត្រីរបស់លោកជា ស៊ីម? អ្នកខ្លះទៀតបានអះអាងរហូតដល់ថា នេះជាជម្លោះផ្ទៃក្នុងគណបក្សកាន់អំណាចទៀតផង។
យ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ លោកឧត្ដមសេនីយ៍ឯក យឹម លាង នាយករងខុទ្ទកាល័យ ជាប្រធានកងអង្គរក្សថ្មីរបស់ប្រធានគណបក្សប្រជាជនបានចេញមុខ បកស្រាយថា បញ្ហានេះមិនជាប់ទាក់ទងនឹងរឿងនយោបាយទេ។ លោកយឹម លាង បានថ្លែងប្រាប់ក្រុមអ្នកកាសែតនៅចុងសប្តាហ៍នេះថា លោកបានទទួលការប្រគល់សិទ្ធិពីសម្តេច ជា ស៊ីម ឲ្យធ្វើជាដើមបណ្តឹងក្នុងរឿងនេះ។ មន្ត្រីទាំង៥នាក់ដែលគេចាប់ខ្លួនត្រូវបានចោទប្រកាន់ពីបទឆបោក សប្បុរសជន និងក្រុមហ៊ុនវិនិយោគទុនបរទេសរាប់សិបតាមរយៈការប្រើប្រាស់ឯកសារ ក្លែងបន្លំដែលមានហត្ថលេខាសម្តេចជា ស៊ីមដើម្បីស្វែងរកប្រយោជន៍ផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនដល់ទៅរាប់លានដុល្លារ។ មហាជនកំពុងតាមដានរឿងនេះនិងចង់ដឹងថា តើមានមន្ត្រីណាផ្សេងទៀតដែលនឹងត្រូវគេចាប់ខ្លួន៕

They are the crooks and the most corrupted bastards in the country. Glad they are arrested.
I think the real crooks are Hun Sen, Sok An, Cham Prasiddh, Om Yontieng, Kun Kim, Hing Bunheang etc. Chea Sim's supporters are also crooks, but the big crooks are Hun Sen, the people I just mentioned and many more of his supporters are the real big crooks.

It looks like Hun Sen is getting paranoid with his generals who are not loyal to him. Now Hun Sen wants to secure his power by arresting them and replace with his most loyal ones in the his circle. This is called Power Grip make sure nothing is going out of his hand.
Sometimes people got killed by the very people they most trusted. Indian PM, Indira Gandhi, was assassinated by her trusted bodyguard in 1984, and last week a governor of one of Indian states was killed by his own bodyguard also. So, Hun Sen might one day be killed by the people he most trusted, maybe Hing Bunheang, Kun Kim, Om Yintieng or even Sok An.
$600 millions dollars disappear without trace...cuz of these crook, corrupted officials taken away from state's money...???
I hope they recover some money back...Make sure these crooks behind bar for good!
