Prime Minister Hun Sen (pictured) has blasted Thai Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban for commenting about rumours that he has lung cancer by cursing that Suthep will die before him. He has also blasted the "Khmer Yellow Shirts", the Cambodian oppositions, for spreading false rumours.

Mr. Suthep said that Mr. Hun Sen's health has deteriorated because of lung cancer. He was commenting after rumours published by Cambodian websites, including Khmerization, earlier this month that Mr. Hun Sen has advanced lung cancer. "I will not die. It is you (Suthep) who will die before me because you are older than me. My voice is still very strong, without having to use a microphone and can still be heard throughout the room. If I have lung cancer...and my voice is so strong like this....do I look like a sick person? These people are the "Khmer Yellow Shirts" and now it (rumour) has spread to the Thai yellow shirts people in Bangkok who said that Hun Sen is sick. I am still alive and they said like this.....what will they say if I am really sick? But Decho Hun Sen will not die", he said.

He said that if the Thai yellow shirts insulted his life, it is the same as the Thai government insulting his life. "The more the Thai yellow shirts cursed me, it is like the Thai government insulting me as well. You allow the yellow shirt to insult me, even wanted to cut my throat and use my blood to wash their feet and cut my head to burn, but I never insulted and wanted to cut Abhisit's throat or the throats of other Thai people", he said.

In February, Thai Foreign Minister called Mr. Hun Sen a "bully boy" after the deadly clashes at Preah Vihear temple. In 2008, during a rally to seize Bangkok Airport in December, Mr. Kasit was reported to have publicly declared that he "wants to use Hun Sen's blood to clean his feet".

Mr. Hun Sen said that ex-Khmer Rouge leaders, including Pol Pot, had cursed and insulted his life, but at the end those people died before him.

this is fuck up....is this a war of war or a war of words through media. a politician should works with his work not reading media and start word of war.

Media is another ingredient added to this war. Why should this fucking politician read from the media? it was suppose to be the media getting news from the politician. STUPID.

All of the sudden media become the source of war between Cambodia and Thai? Thai sent troop to invade Khmer territory since 2008 but that was not the cause of war. You IDIOT.
In 1975 if we have fast communication technology like now a day, the Mayaguez episode would not had happen.

For Thai Deputy PM to raise the issue of Hun sen has lung cancer at a time of fierce border fighting is not diplomatic. He has a hidden agenda, by raising the issue he intends to inflame Mr. Hun Sen and the border conflict. It is a cheap shot from this Thai politician.
