Prime Minister Hun Sen and Thai PM Abhisit Vejjajiva on Monday 4th October met in Brussels for 15 minutes to discuss about the two year-old border conflict between the two countries.
Mr. Chum Kosal, advisor to Mr. Hun Sen, said the two leaders had discussed about the outstanding border issues left over from the discussions in New York on 24th September. "The important issue is troops withdrawal from the area around Preah Vihear temple. And the Thai prime minister will give a definite answer about the Thai parliament's ratification of the minutes of the three agreements from the ministerial level meetings raised by (our) head of the government. May be he (Thai PM) will inform our PM about a definite time frame (of that ratification)", he said.
Mr. Yim Sovan, spokesman for the opposition Sam Rainsy Party, said he had little hope with the bilateral talks. "If we go to the International Court of Justice, we have advantage because we have the legal framework of The Hague (Court) verdict. And we believe that we will receive justice if there is international involvement", he said.

What can they discuss in 15 minutes. After the handshakes and coffee, it is all over. This is a joke. The Thai side is playing game and Hun Sen is so stupid not to know it. The Thais have no interests in talking something concrete because it means they have to withdraw troops from Cambodian soil.

Economically,Thailand have a big slide of cambodia's market. 35% of Cambodian import are Thai products and plus much more investment up to billions of USD that Thai businessmen have invested in Cambodia as Cambodia is still a vulnerable country.
This border case here should be resulted by UN court of justice.
