Canadia Bank is owned by Oknha Pung Kheav Se and some sources said it also partly-owned by Prime Minister Hun Sen.

According to a guard at the warehouse, these timbers had been bought by Canadia Bank and stockpiled in the warehouse since 2004-2005.
In late March, approximately 1,100 cubic metres of illegal timbers had been seized in raids in Siem Reap. The major warehouses are mostly owned by powerful tycoons and officials from the ruling Cambodian People's Party.
