The Cambodian troops along the disputed borders had been ordered to be on high alert after the Thai military staged several large military drills in a show of force, reports Khmer Sthapana.
The Thai military drills were staged in front of the Preah Vihear temple, Phnom Trop and Choan Sra-Ngam Pass in Ouddor Meanchey province from 3-4 July. These Thai military drills had caused the Cambodian troops to be more alarmed. The drills involved the firing of artilleries, rockets and tank assaults.
According to the Cambodian military, the Cambodian border troops based at Phnom Trop, Veal Entry and Chak Chreng had been ordered to be on high alert in readiness to defend Cambodian sovereignty.
There are also reports that the Thai military are continuing to truck in hundreds of troops to the disputed borders, while Thai villagers residing in villages near the borders were evacuated.
There are also reports that the Cambodian military had ordered the 40 or so Thai troops based at Wat Keo Sekha Kirisvak pagoda and at the foot of the Preah Vihear mountain to leave by 4th July.

But Cambodia have to upgrade our military capability in order to fight against the Thais because they have modern weapons, more soldiers, planes, tanks and artilleries.

Thai troop is not good (or like dead body) that why thai country took over part of khmer empire land and became big country in this region.
Let us compare betwee this two nation, Thailand started from 0 and they got their land bigger than cambodia.
Cambodia today is from Khmer empire in past 1400 years ago, what is the result now? only small land...
Let think, Hun SEn is not nationalism. He did this work because he wanted more vote at election day. He doesn't care about cambodian land.
Hun Sen is part of vietnam, Vietnam is making khmer forget about border in east and south with vietnam. They are making demarcation along border with vietnam and with promis to finish their work soon.
If Hun Sen is good, he should think all border dispute problem.
Cambodia people is sleeping with Hun Sen. They are cheer for Hun Sen. A leader to defend their nation from invader.

they're all turn a blind eyes on Thai invading the US said they stand on the middle but not so the American ambassador in phnom penh said don't fight talk but they should know that the Thai don't want to talk they play dirty trick and the most important is they said on Cambodia side They should say in the Thai side too
Nobody can help you unless you help yourself first.
Khmer leader alway want to negotiate with thai. Even among ASEAN nation, one time Singapore or Malaysia or Indonesia want to help. Hun Sen rejected, he said can negotiate on thai and cambodia, he doesn't like third country or third party to involve.
Imagize, if he (hun sen) bring this deal to UNSC or UN court in the hague of netherland. Thailand has no chance to stand on cambodia side until today.
It start from cambodian leader. He wanted everybody see him, cheer him. He is nationalism. He is good leader. His troop can fight with invader Thailand.

8:31pm, I also agree with you. Hun Sen has been very aggressive in his speeches in the last few days, but at the end I think his aggressiveness will turn passiveness. Hun Sen has shown that he was very weak in dealing with Thai leaders regarding border disputes in the past. If he was strong from the beginning like he pretends to be now, then I think Thai leaders wouldn't dare to invade Cambodian territories everywhere.
