Dear Readers,
I used to be a university student in Cambodia before 1975 and I also got a
degree in the United States. When my friends and I were students at that time,
we had no time to waste on other stuffs.
We all concentrated our effort and time on our study and tried really hard for
all subjects that we needed to complete for our degree. But right now, if we
take a look at Cambodia, we see news about a group of young people that declare
themselves as students to go almost everywhere in Cambodia. They declare that they
want to know the truth about Mr Kem Sokha.
We do not really understand why these students have a lot of time to go almost
everywhere looking for other people's problems even though they are still studying.
Why is it that they do not care about their future and pay so much attention to
others? If they are real students, I believe they will have no time to investigate
other people's problems.
They should take their precious time and try hard to finish whatever subjects
that they are studying.
Dear all readers, please take a few seconds to think. Why do
they not care about their future if they are students? How do they get money to
support their living? Are they all rich kids or do they receive some kind of support
behind the scene? IF those students are supported by anyone or any organization,
we Khmer-Americans who used to be students would like to give an advice to all
of those students.
"DO NOT BE AN ANIMAL and SELL YOUR OWN HONOR & SPIRIT TO SERVE ANYONE
FOR ANY PURPOSE."
If you study hard, do not give up and you will succeed in your life. You earn
money for living with your hands, degree, strength, and you can live peacefully
without interfering from your remorse.
