PHNOM PENH (Xinhua) -- Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prawit Wongsuwan will lead a military delegation to pay a two-day official visit to Cambodia on Dec. 24 and 25 to further boost bilateral ties and cooperation, said a press statement issued by the Cambodian defense ministry on Monday.
"The visit is aimed at strengthening and expanding friendly relations and cooperation in the military sector between the two countries," the statement said.
During the visit, Prawit and Cambodian Defense Minister Gen. Tea Banh will co-chair the 10th Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee and sign the minutes of the meeting.
"The meeting between the two ministers will further promote cooperation between the two countries so as to enhance peace, security and prosperity along the border," it said.
Prawit will also pay a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen during his stay in Cambodia.

Why even bother to have any border commission meeting with these Siam. They been stalling to follow 2011 ICJ verdict ever since.
They always kept telling Khmer that they needed a stable Siam lower house parliament to vote to withdraw. I never heard any nation on Earth needed congress permission to withdraw from someone else territories. These Siam are playing game with these naive, gullible, incompetent Khmer corrupted armed forces. Sick & Tired of these useless meeting. Siam still occupied areas around Preah Vihear, Ta Moan, Ta Krabey. Those clashes in the past years Khmer ill equips actually won those fights but these Siam still manage to negotiated back to those areas because of our incompetent commanders.
