Last week, Bill and I (Melinda) traveled to a remote village in Cambodia to learn about malaria screening and treatment programs. Working with partners, we're investing in developing new drugs, diagnostics, and vaccines that will help completely eliminate malaria.
But those new tools will only work if they are designed to meet the needs of the people who will use them, and if we work with local communities implement programs that work for them.
