Wrong comment ! deep fried spider is not remnant from Pol Pot . This kind of delicious food has existed for more than two decades before Pol Pot's . It is sold only in Skuon center , Kompong Cham province .When Pol Pol took over power , markets were closed , money was abolished ; there was no spider trade then . Most of the fried spiders sold in Skuon now are not fresh , the vendors there keep pouring hot cooklng oil onto left over . if you can buy alive ones and the restaurant nearby will prepare for you .
