Thai reporter is genuine in her apology for misstepping on the portrait of ex-King Sihanouk

We should stop inciting and should learn from the anti-Thai riot and the burning of Thai embassy in 2003. As shown in this picture, the Thai reporter, Thapanee Ietsrichai, seem to be deeply remorseful for misstepping on the portrait of ex-King Sihanouk as this time she took her shoes off while prostrating in front of the portrait of the ex-king. We should forgive her and accept her genuine apology unconditionally.

Let's move on.

I know our late King would forgive her. There is always a room for forgiveness for unintentional or accidental mishap.

Don't think, she make it voluntary. It was not a good timing.
Because of the stituation of the the wind and the picture of the King Sihaouk under their feet, that make her nervous and she forgot to move her shoe before paying repect to the King.

I feel the same. From the picture I really feel for her. She must get a lot of pressures and now she bow to the ground/floor. She is so genuine in her apology and I feel so sympathetic with her situation. We Khmers should all forgive her. Buddha bless you Thapanee.

Once again for you Yobal Khmer, you’re such a wise man indeed and you know exactly what it is a negative and a positive way, like you’ve said it almost make you cry while you’ve seen her picture. Well, we’re not animals we’re human beings, that’s why we have hearts to mention what is right and what is wrong. I believe that she’ll feel so touching by this posted comment of yours when Thapanee sees it.
